One of cost-saving methods is the enhancement of production efficiency. Due to the ongoing oil price hikes and economic crisis, industrial business entrepreneurs need to enhance their efficiency in cost management. The Bank, as an expert financial service provider and investment consultant, has therefore initiated the entrepreneurs’ energy consumption enhancement project to provide advice on a work management, a production management and an energy consumption management, which help improve product’s quality and price as well as the customers’ competitive advantages under economic crisis condition.
The energy-saving project may not be in entrepreneurs’ attraction because of either reluctance to new technology implementation or a no short-term result from an economic of scale. To eliminate obstacles discouraging entrepreneurs from investing in the energy-saving project, the Bank in conjunction with the Institution of Industrial Energy, the Federation of Thai Industries and Energy Services Company (ESCO), offer entrepreneurs different investment alternatives to build up their confidence and persuade them to join the project in a timely manner through the effective energy-saving hi-technology which helps cut the cost up to 20% for industrial factories consuming energy/fuel oil at Bt. 2 million or more per month.
