Objectives

1. To eliminate obstacles discouraging entrepreneurs from investing in the energy-saving project by offering them different investment alternatives to build up their confidence and persuade them to join the project.
2. To offer them optional sources of capital, namely, working capital facilities for energy conservation and sources of venture capital from foreign funds. TMB will fully finance the investment and transfer all assets to the entrepreneurs after the end of the project.
3. To introduce to the entrepreneurs the effective energy-saving hi-technology which helps cut the cost up to 20% for industrial factories consuming energy/fuel oil at Bt. 2 million or more per month.
4. To introduce Energy Services Company (ESCO) as energy saving and management consultant to help strengthen the entrepreneurs’ confidence in the energy-saving project investment.

Goal

To provide experts and capital to the entrepreneurs to help them seriously and quickly improve their effective use of energy with the target of at least 10 enterprises. The project aims to help cut the cost of energy approximately over 20% for each enterprise.

 

Benefits for the Entrepreneurs

Benefits for Thailand

1. To reduce the fuel oil import for domestic use and contribute to FX saving of at least Bt. 250 million a year.
2. To support the government policies on energy-saving and optimization of energy consumption.

Qualifications of the Attendants

Owners, directors, managing directors, finance department heads and top executives of around 30 industrial factories (only the factories consuming energy/fuel oil at Bt. 2 million or more per month).
