Thai-Danish Partnership Facility Program

Objective

This alliance program is a part of the Environmental Special Assistance Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affair, Denmark. The key objective is to help develop the environment in Thailand, Malaysia, and China in order to strengthen local industries through environmental sciences educated by various companies in Denmark.  In this regard, a budget totaling DKK 98 million (approximately Bt. 600 million) has been allocated to encourage new cooperation among the three countries during 2005 – 2010.

  • Efficient use of renewable energy
  • Clean technology and production
  • Sewerage reduction and waste management
  • Environmental management and examination

Assistance Criteria

Action plans entitled to the alliance program is subject to the following four criteria:

  • Potentiality to become a sustainable business
  • Clear and measurable co-operation in environmental preservation
  • Long-term relationship between both business alliance partners
  • Proven experience related to the proposed action plans
