Young Investor Program (YIP) :

Young Investor Program (YIP) is one of the corporate social responsibility campaigns that TMB has continually organized as the 25th year in 2009. Each year, the program attracted a large numbers of 3rd and 4th year collage students who are selected for a training course based on their entrepreneurship potential. The selected applicants will be invited to attend a long-term workshop to nurture the investment and economic knowledge and skill in capital investment evaluation, business plan preparation, corporate governance and environment responsibility, as well as to prepare them to being a successful entrepreneur in the future. TMB has organized this program nationwide for 42 sessions in total comprising 25 sessions in Bangkok and 17 sessions in the upcountry with over 2,500 students participating in the program. These participants can adopt the knowledge and experience gained from YIP to successfully operate their own business and their family’s business. Hence, YIP is one key activity that helps to develop young - blood investors and Thai economy.
Practical section : To gain investment skills, the participants will have an opportunity to practice a case study by preparing a practical investment project, feasibility study and business plan. The participants also will be required to submit the business plan to the committee for comment and recommendation, and subsequently, the committee will select “the best business plan” with recommendation provided by TMB consultant team.
Activity section : This section comprises team building activity, corporate social responsibility activity and a study trip on successful companies in various businesses.
