Foreign Currency Deposit Accounts

The service is to facilitate and enhance customers’ trading flexibility or personal business, as well as to make customers confident in handling their foreign money. In accordance with the Regulation of the Bank of Thailand that requires those who have foreign currencies in hand to exchange them into Thai Baht or deposit them into FCD within 360 days, the bank is providing FCD as a special service for the customers’ convenience.

FCD also facilitates foreigners or expatriates who temporarily work in Thailand or domestic businessmen who wish to deposit foreign currencies into FCD without having to exchange them into Thai Baht, in order to minimize the risk of foreign exchange rate.
