Purchase foreign financial instruments i.e.Traveller’s Cheque, Draft, Cashier’s Cheque, Cheque, Money Order etc. and arrange to credit value of the instruments into the payee’s deposit account prior to the result of clearing process
Remarks
Traveller’s Cheque can be received by cash immediately upon the encashment
Other instruments will be credited to the payee’s deposit account only
Condition
Customers are required to fill in Foreign Exchange Transaction Form for transactions valued greater than USD 50,000 or equivalent, as regulated by the Bank of Thailand.
Fees
Traveller’s Cheque: THB.30.00 for fee and THB.3.00 for Duty Stamp per item
Other Instruments: THB.200.00 for fee and THB.3.00 for Duty Stamp per item
Accept foreign financial instruments i.e. Draft, Cashier’s Cheque, Cheque, Money Order etc. for collection in which value of the instruments will be arrange to credit to the payee’s deposit account upon the result of collection process
Remarks
Minimum value of the foreign financial instruments sending for collection must be USD.50.00 each
United States Treasury Check or some instruments issued by government of some countries are unable to accept for collection
Condition
Customers are required to fill in Foreign Exchange Transaction Form for transactions valued greater than USD 50,000 or equivalent, as regulated by the Bank of Thailand.
Collection Fees
USD.10.00 per item (collected by TMB)
USD.17.00-USD.22.00 per item (collected by the agent bank or the paying bank)
